Yesterday, I was able to visit with my ten-year-old niece, face-to-face...even though she lives 250 miles away. Yay for Skype! She chatted with me, made faces at me, approved my hairstyle, and showed me her handstands. She tried to show me how she takes her dog out to go potty, but (thankfully) the connection was lost. All our visiting was done with me on my laptop and she on her iPod. Isn't technology great? I look forward to being able to "see" my family via Skype. Especially my niece. She's feisty. She's sassy. She's going to give my sister gray hair. I think that's hilarious!
