Happy Birthday to Cyrus!

Sir Cyrus Pembroke Adams is officially in the double digits now...he turned 10 years old yesterday!  Matt and I celebrated his birthday last night by giving him a couple new toys and his favorite bag of treats.  He really didn't care about the toys...he just wanted to tear into his treats.  After he scarfed one down, he went into the kitchen to sit and stare at the "treat" drawer and bark, hoping we'd give him another.  Oh, he knows how to work us.  When we're eating at the table, he jumps up on the empty chair and lays his head on the table and looks up at us under his eyelashes...even batting them and working up a tear.  I'm surprised he doesn't limp to the table, pretending he's weak with hunger, to try and get some of our food.  Cyrus has his own unique personality and is the only dog I know who has THREE scrapbooks...all filled with pictures and stories of the fun we've had with him over the years!  We're looking forward to many more years of him making us laugh!!
