Summer: Cyrus Style

Cyrus isn't an ordinary dog.  He doesn't like to get his feet wet.  He's the only dog I know who doesn't like to touch the grass because it could be (gasp) wet.  He actually prefers to play fetch in the driveway.  If someone does throw his ball or frisbee in the grass, he'll retrieve it and then make a direct straight line for the driveway and trot back on the pavement.  He avoids grass whenever he can.  He doesn't like to be in the sun...or wind, rain, snow, sleet, fog, or humidity.  He prefers to be in a climate-controlled house. With all the hot, hot, (did I mention HOT?) weather we've had lately, we've all been trying to stay cool inside the house enjoying the central air. But, we decided we all could use some fresh air over the weekend. So, we forced Cy to come hang out with us out by the pool. Of course, he had to float in the pool...absolutely no swimming for this dog.  Heaven forbid his feet got wet!
